Tooth extraction is performed when a tooth is severely damaged, causing pain, or posing a risk to oral health. At KPSA, every extraction is done using safe techniques to ensure the procedure is quick and as comfortable as possible.
Types of Extractions at KPSA
- Normal Extraction
Standard removal of a loose or easily accessible tooth. - Difficult Extraction (Non-surgical / Splitting)
For strong, broken, or complicated teeth that may need sectioning before removal. - Surgical Removal – Embedded Teeth
Minor surgery to remove teeth that are embedded and cannot be removed conventionally. - Surgical Removal – Impacted Teeth
Removal of teeth that are trapped under gum or bone, such as impacted wisdom teeth. - Minor Oral Surgery – Specialist
Complex oral surgery performed by a specialist clinician. - Prosthetic Surgery / Bone Alveoplasty
Reshaping the jawbone after extraction to prepare for dentures or prosthetics. - Suture (Stitching)
Suturing after surgery to support healing. - Additional LA Injection
Extra local anesthesia if required to ensure comfort.

Aftercare
- Gently bite on gauze for 30–45 minutes.
- Avoid strong rinsing for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid hot or hard foods; start with soft foods.
- Apply ice to the cheek to reduce swelling.
- Follow prescribed medication and instructions.
